A captivating rare Red Stella dial, with ten diamond hour markers (including two baguette diamonds at six and nine o'clock), housed in an 18k Yellow Gold 36mm case, with a fluted bezel, winder, President bracelet and deployant clasp sealed with the Rolex Crown, acrylic glass and automatic movement. This watch has a serial: 51XXXXX and was produced in 1977.
The Rolex Day-Date reference 1803 was discontinued in 1978, in correspondence to the introduction of it's successor: the 18038 single-quick in 1977. This example we have available was produced in 1977, making it one of the last in the production of the reference 1803.
