Pre-owned, excellent condition Patek Philippe Nautilus, reference 3800/1J, 18k Yellow Gold gents wristwatch. White dial, Gold applied Baton & Roman numeral hour markers, date display at 3 o'clock, an 18k Yellow Gold 38mm case, smooth bezel, winder, bracelet and deployant clasp with the Patek Philippe crest, sapphire crystal glass and automatic movement.
The dial fitted to this watch is an original Patek Philippe Nautilus 3800 dial, originally produced for the stainless steel and 18k yellow gold version of the reference. While Patek Philippe also offered a white dial for the full 18k yellow gold 3800, that configuration was made with full baton hour markers.
The previous owner preferred the more distinctive layout of alternating Roman numerals and baton markers, and chose to have this original Patek Philippe dial fitted to the watch. The result is a highly individual configuration: authentic in its components, beautifully suited to the yellow gold case, and not a standard catalogue combination - giving the piece a character and presence unlikely to be found elsewhere.
